Our offense is so damn predictable and cookie cutter. We have too many limitations in different areas and our chemistry and flow is too trash to mask it.

The reason why the 10 day guys looked good was because even though they couldn't score they were aggressive on D and banged inside. We got a bunch of inconsistent offensive minded guys who don't get in the mix.

His timing has been off a bit this season. His kinda defense is nullified if his positioning is off and his lack of size is exposed a bit. When he's in sync he's stifling and crazy good though.

We need the wings to get in the mix. Gotta be annoying as a big when you deter a shot but noone gets the rebound.

OO is a bit too eager to switch on the perimeter. Early in the shot clock he got to try and stay middle.

So we give up JC, Hunter, Gallo(Salary), JJJ and 2 picks? Thats way too much imo. We're basically absorbing Tobias' contract and gutting the team for Ben. Also why trade Cam if JC and Deandre are both liable to go? Not to mention Philly becomes the best team in the East and sheds salary? -
Trae looks more open to change though. Plus he's a better shooter than Russ and can navigate as an offball player better than Luka. He's got to grow on that end for sure.

I'm with @Diesel on this one. We have talented players that can drive, pass and shoot. We need to play at a faster pace and utilize the height and length of our wings better. More curls and off-ball screens and less pounding the rock and high pnr. Trae is the best pnr gaurd in the NBA, he can his shot at any point in the shot clock so it shouldn't be our first option all the time. It should be used when possessions slow down or when the opportunity is fitting. Keep the defense guessing. Nate's not an offensive guru so I don't know if he can design an offense that can take advantage of all our shooters.

Right after an ECF run? Interesting. He wasn't a part of getting there so I can see why he'd feel not needed. Guess I gotta apologize to Nate and TLC for him not starting.

Cam also didn't want to play Summer League so he's always viewed himself highly.

Alotta interesting info popping up about Cam. Hoping it's not a smear campaign, but everything fits together too well for it not to be grounded in some truth. When there is smoke there is fire. Faux injuries? The way Goodwin's blood clots were secretly handled makes this seem probable. It was always weird seeing all the young guy's come back each off-season with clear progression and Cam lagging behind. This year he made some jumps but it wasn't enough sadly.

I was a big Cam supporter but take his potential and flashes out of the picture and you see a player who was unfortunately a net negative. The reason the return was low was because he's close to hitting restricted free agency. JJJ might fetch a higher return if we traded him right now, and he's barely played.

I don't know. Travis usually knows when to cut bait on a guy thats not doing what is expected of them. Omari and Bruno being examples. He also honors trade requests and doesn't hold players hostage. Rondo and Baze are good examples of this. The timing being so early instead of at the deadline makes it easy to see that Cam wanted out. I don't think a bunch of people are bashing Cam, people are just disappointed in everyone involved.

I agree with this statement. Cam's lack of on-court impact vs his potential was nerve-wracking. I'm not gonna miss that. The fanbase isn't gonna be as divisive anymore atleast. He had some haters and some over the top supporters. Noone is happy with the return so everyone loses in this scenario. Hope the best for him 78/82 games of the year.
