  1. He's smaller than Trae, defensive liabilty, and his shooting form needs a lot of work. However, his ability to run an offense and pass is tops in this class.
  2. Schlenk has found his Draymond Green. Great defensive versatility, rebounder, and playmaking for his size. I'm a fan. If he ever becomes a shooter we may have found the steal of the draft.
  3. Yall are not about to stress me out on the lords day of July29th! Kevin stays!!!!
  4. The good thing about the ECF run is the Hawks will get more national TV games and the lack of continuation calls for him will probably become a story.
  5. I think this portion gets lost in translation with outside fans. The Bogis, Gallos and Clints may be traded in the next few seasons, but I believe Travis and his management team will try to keep our young core together as long as possible or until a blockbuster trade comes along. Edit: I'll also add. A Hunter for Beal deal is a no go for me. Beal's defense probably will be better in a winning situation, but he doesn't provide the defensive flexibility of a Hunter. Maybe I'm understating Beal's offensive impact, but once Hunter reaches his prime, I don't believe the difference in their offensive impact will be that great.
  6. You know it's more about the selector than the selected.. .
  7. I selected Zaire Williams because I've read he may be there for the Hawks pick and to me, he has a ton of upside. He is a very good defender and I believe his shooting will come around eventually as he puts on more weight and gets stronger. At this point, I've gone in circles on these prospects and I can't really decide who I want the Hawks to pick. I've resigned myself to just being happy with whoever they pick. Tre Mann is still very high on my personal list of prospects, but I can be talked into any player in this range at this point.
  8. I'm going the need the captions cause I can't understand what they are saying or the only word I can make out isn't good....
  9. I was right there with you...lol
  10. Detroit isn't in Salary Cap hell or anything. I think that's a pretty good deal. I don't think Cade is a Luka or Trae type player. He very well could be, but I just don't see the scoring ability. He'll be a great pick though and I don't see him being a bust.
  11. I'm assuming you can't say specifically which two players so I'm going to assume Huerter and Gallo or Bogi. I don't see them offering Reddish and Hunter due to their defensive upside, but what do I know?
  12. In the right situation Ben can be very successful. He needs to be surrounded by shooters a five that plays on the perimeter. Minnesota with KAT is actually a good fit for him, they make up for each other's weaknesses perfectly. I don't think Minnesota would be interested though.
  13. Yeah, I don't see the upside for Memphis either. Valanciunas was big for them. I didn't keep up with Adams last year, but didn't he have a down year? To me this helps New Orleans more than Memphis since Valanciunas can stretch the floor better than Adams.
  14. No, it is not. The price point for Beal makes him unattainable for the Hawks. Washington would want too much and I personally am not willing to give it up for Beal. His wife on social media also makes me not want to root for Beal.
  15. Givony isn't being "made out" to say anything. He tweeted it himself. His words. This is what you call click bait.
  16. NBA Executives. Didn't ask anyone in the Hawks..lol This is trash!
  17. Way too skilled to be Nerlens. He does have a lot of defensive upside.
  18. Nope. He ain't that good..lol The LouWill role would be perfect for him, but he'll need to improve his playmaking.
  19. Agreed. I was just commenting on Sexton. He's actually a really good young player. The Portland deal doesn't make much sense. but he'd probably be a good fit on another team looking for a young scoring guard. I can't think of that team off the top of my head..lol
  20. I don't really either, but it depends on how they value a young improving player. Maybe they see some trade value there if he's on a winning team putting up those numbers?
  21. Popularity in the nba is not down. How people consume the NBA is much different than previous generations. I believe they measure by hours spent watching the product to price the deals. Social Media makes the NBA one of the biggest sports in the world. If you don't have a TV deal you can't be posting highlights, etc. on social media that get interactions and also make these companies money. Again, the Hawks may not have as much trouble keeping their core as some may believe.
