    Somebody needs to be upset.It's not just this one game it's the Hawks lackadaisical play. Hawks don't have any leaders to get on players.Coach Bud seems to be in a fog and he makes the decisions on personnel. So if Bud can't get out of the fog why shouldn't an owner find out what is going on with his team. It's like when the Braves had Chuck Tanner manager he would always be happy go lucky and saw things always half glass full despite the Braves being one of the worst teams in the game. When its broke you have to fix it. We saw the same lackadaisical play in last years playoffs but some thought it was due to injuries. There just isn't enough talent on the team plain and simple. I think everyone should be up for trade if you can't put a better product than this on the floor.We saw no fight in the Hawks last night. Where's the pride on this team.

    Agree total disrespect for the Hawks and Toronto. If the Hawks can't get up for and play their best this game then when can they.Its like the bully kicking sand in your face and laughing at you while he walks off with the pretty girl.

    This seems to be a problem from the Falcons to the Hawks believing they are closer than they think. A few yrs ago Dimitroff said the Falcons had alot of talent well most people in the NFL don't see it that way. The Hawks are not as close to winning achampionship as they think also. Does management really want to win a championship or just make the playoffs and be satisfied with the revenue it generates? If Bud thinks he can twitch the team enough to beat the likes of the Warriors,Cavs or Spurs he's crazy.

    I don't want to be a debbie downer but if the Hawks blown out say win zero games or 1 wouldn't you think management should start breaking the team up. I think the current roster is as good as it will get. Tired of the excuses, injuries,players not playing up to their ability, low BBIQ. Also Bud doesn't seem to get it when players are not playing well he continues to play them. You got to put other players in and throw out the old style thinking Bud.

    Bud some how seems to be stuck in a fog not seeing the same game as fans. Horford needs to give alot more and f he doesn't take him out and put in Humphries or Muscala they can't do worse and who knows maybe the Cavs off rebounds will be less.

    I agree the Hawks offense is geared for off stats yet some guys don't step up when it is needed. How difficult is it to work on a post game? I know the Hawks like to run up and down the court and cut lanes yet you still need to add that as part of your game. We saw tonight Cleveland shut down mostly the lanes so either it was a 3 pointer shot or post game . Also doubt if the Hawks can contain Thompson getting the off boards. He seems to be Dennis Rodman a knack for rebounds.

    Hawks could have pulled the game out but as usual tanked with 3-4 minutes to go. I see a few issues here which probably won't be corrected. What does Bud teach these players in practice? A few times I saw the Hawks had numbers driving and what does the player with the ball do pass it off hoping the player makes a 3 pointer? Whatever happened to driving the ball to the basket worst you get is a foul and two shots at free throws. Do you really want to pay Horford probably a max contract? He's invisible to much and can't hit shots. Why Bud didn't take him out and put in Humpries (did he even play) I don't know. I think the issue with Milsap is if guarded by a bigger man he has problems. You can't rely on Sap because of the problem. Korver played alot of minutes but hardly scored. Hawks need to find an answer in the off season. Korver should be coming off the bench. Props to Dennis and Baz. Both bring energy to the team although there are times especially with Dennis he doesn't make the right play. The game basically came down to missing open shots. Once the lane gets shut down the Hawks are just a jump shooting team. They don't have reliable shooters thus most of the game the Hawks were playing catch up. I think Bud waits to long to make adjustments thus handicapping the team. I'd like to see Humpries and Muscala play more minutes.

    Hawks management just want to churn a profit they could care less about superstars and winning championships. Superstars don't grow on trees but if you don't draft them it's still to get one through free agency only IF management sells the star on the Hawks. I haven't seen that effort by past Hawk owners so the jury is still out for this current recent new owner. Will see how much he wants to win by the moves made in the off season.

    Great win tonight. Scott and Baz really turned it on. Makes you wonder why Humpries was sitting on the bench since he played well. If Horford is injured then maybe it explains his lack of scoring. I hope Humpries plays more minutes. Sometimes I wonder if Bud is to thick skulled to change his ways until it gets to be almost to late. If something isn't working he should make adjustments asap.

    Correction on my part Hawks did acquire Splitter which I thought was a good move but now it seems like a bad one. I agree no one should be safe on the roster.

    This is what happens when management doesn't go out and get better players. Losing DMC causes ripple effects on the team. Management's answer was to get Hardaway who has turned into a bench warmer not to mention losing the draft pick who could have been developed. Hardaway is what he is another dumb move by management. My hope is Schröder gets dealt for a wing player that can start. Draft bpa hopefully a big but as long as the kid can start eventually. The team was as good as it was going to get last year. REMEMBER THIS YOU CAN ALWAYS TELL WHCH TEAMS WANT TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS BY THE OFF SEASON MOVES AND WHICH ONES OUR JUST HAPPY MAKING THE PLAYOFFS . Unfortunately the hawks seemed to have owners who just want to make the playoffs and not go very far. They'll take the profit the playoffs give and be happy meanwhile the fan is pissed because the team doesn't advance. Just another year being a Hawks fan.

    Happened that way in the playoffs last year Hawks looking like deer in headlights at end of game. The more things change the more things stay the same. Nice job by Hawks management to improve the roster going into the season. Hardaway whats he doing now..lol.

    Keep the same pieces as last year you get the same results during the clutch. No ball movement at all and what was Teague thinking letting 10 seconds go off the clock so he could do his head fake jump shot which he didn't even get it off. TERRIBLE clutch play by the Hawks and Teague. You battle all game to end up like a deer in head lights when it matters most. CAN WE PLEASE GET SOME BETTER PLAYERS.

    Hawks just choked. Terrible shot selection in overtime and once again last position in regulation look like a deer in head lights not knowing how to set up a winning shot.

    Whose jumping ship? I've been a fan since the late 70s. I m saying the way the Hawks are currently constructed they won't go far if your wanting championships. The Hawks may win by double digits tomorrow that still won't change my long term outlook on the team. It's easy to get excited if you haven't followed the Hawks that long however you have to accept the Hawks for what they are a team that will make the playoffs most years and get bounced in the 1st or 2nd series most years. What I'd like to see for the current Hawks is the team play solid ball none of this one on one play. Clutch shooting,Sap,Horford playing big in big games,Korver hitting the 3s and Teague being a distributor of the ball. I can accept losing if the team can play solid ball. Schröder I don't see the development and don't think he'll change despite being young. Will see what happens tomorrow but don''t get to excited or low its just another Hawks season.

    Hawks won 60 games last year where did that get them vs Cleveland who wasn't even at full strength. Playoff basketball is an entirely different animal. You watch a team like Golden State that they can rebound when they have to, play great defense and can hit the outside shot. Also they have a number of go to men on the team. The Hawks same issues as last year no go to players at end of the game. The team looks lost out there at certain times. There is to much one on one basketball as we saw last night, no post game etc etc like last year. Even beating the Celtics in the series really isn't a huge accomplishment their no where near the best teams in the league and also remember Boston has two of their players out and still beat the hawks. It's not just one loss its a multitude of problems with the Hawks team one year later and its almost the same team that got destroyed vs Cleveland.

    Do you trade Dennis in the off season. Hawks draft 21st won't get much there. A point guard should be setting up players to make them better . This should be the no1 ability of a point guard. Dennis has alot of maturity issues understandably but even at this early stage I don't think he'll change. He is to much a one on one player instead of a distributor. Yes the point guard should score but last night's game was just a reminder Dennis doesn't seem to have the traits to be an outstanding point guard.

    Hawks got down early and came back but look at who the opposition is the Celtics. Try doing that vs an elite team most of the time you get put away. Hawks would lose by 20-30 vs the better teams. Positives Kyle was making 3s.

    I agree the Hawks since they can't sign any superstar free agents or draft them will be satisfied with what they have. Sap and Horford shouldn't be getting max contracts but if they went else where Hawks management is scared the team will be one of the worst in the NBA thus profits for the year will be bad and the owners will take a hit in the pocket book. Wish we had owners that knew how to recruit and find ways to get a superstar or 2 here that way the hawks would win more in the playoffs and generate more profits for the owners creating a win win for the fans and the owner(s). Nope instead Hawks will just be good enough to make the playoffs like we have the last 7-8 years and get bounced rounds 1 or 2. Last year was more an aberration than anything. Sorry to say that but the teams the Hawks beat to get to the ECF were not that good. Based on what I have seen so far I don't like how the Hawks are assembled. If you want to play basketball with the big boys (Golden State,Cleveland,San Antonio) you need better shooters from the outside, able to rebound and a go to player or 2 when it counts. Teague is a good player but he isn't clutch when it counts and he is the best the Hawks have. Neither is Sap or Horford clutch and they'll be making the max. The Hawks just are not built right to compete vs the best teams in the NBA.

    Agree 100%. Milsap just disappears in playoff games. Looks like the Hawks got burned in overpaying Sap. Also remember Hawks lost DMC because of the 2 extra million Sap got paid so there was no money left for DMC.

    Starting out 2nd half slow again. I am surprised the Hawks are this close in the game. If they could put it together could win this game. The Celtics keep letting them hand around.

    Where is that high basketball IQ by the Hawks? Just terrible playing. Missed shots galore, Schröder trying to take over the game missing dumb shots, no consistent outside game by the Hawks nor inside game. Hawks easy to defend when they throw up brick after brick. Milsap hasn't done much for a 19 million a year man.

    Dwight just wants to get paid that's all. Makes you wonder how hard he practices . Must have poor work ethic since with all his ability still doesn't have a consistent offensive game. He likes all the glamour and fame but doesn't put the work into the game to be one of the greats.

    Kudos to Kyle Korver and the Hawks for winning tonights game. Kyle looked like the old Kyle from last year hitting 3 point shots. It was a good win however the Hawks still need to remain focused since they have a tendency to lay down and let the other team in the game. It was a good win now on to Boston.
