Having tradeable contracts is how you trade. It's not all about free agents. If Hardaway doesn't play up to the deal he gets, then we would have to give up something valuable to get someone to take him. Like we did with Dwight. You have to draft and develop talent obviously which is why we will build through the draft, not by overpaying bench scorers. I like Hardaway as a high end sixth man, but he's going to get paid to start somewhere

They would have to have another star sign there first and then clear the space to get Millsap. They are rumored to be one of the teams CP3 will meet with. If they can get him on board they would definitively be in s position to do a sign and trade.

If Schlenk thinks an offer someone gives him takes away from the flexibility of the team going forward.m, he won't be matched. I'd bet on him not coming back. Someone will pay him too much. It doesn't sound like Schlenk is in the business of signing contracts out of desperation.

It'd have to be Wilson Chandler or Kenneth Faried. They will have to give up one of the bigger contracts if clearing money is their goal.

Yeah I don't get most Hawks fans. I stayed off this board for years because everyone is so pessimistic. I haven't seen that or of any other fanbases. It's all "woe is me" "we can never have anything nice" "we will always be mediocre". I hate it. It's why the only time I come to places like this is during draft season. When people are actually positive.

The team didn't want Dwight within 50 feet of what will be a young locker room. I can't blame them. They work with him every day, they know better than any fan or anyone in the media bashing the trade. That's actually a pretty dope summer league team if he does. Needs a point guard. I wish we took Morris (sorry Dorsey). Honestly this is a good opportunity to see Bembry run it. He was the primary ball handler in college if I recall correctly.
