  1. Ive been thinking that too. But problem is that he is in a contract year and that he may be too inexperianced to lead us to the playoffs.
  2. Hey, at least Belkin will keep JJ.
  3. Yea, but I wouldn't be suprised if Nique quit.
  4. Hey, if Belkin keeps the core we have I'll be cool with him.

    J.J. Redick

I like most of the members here, but JJ Reddick? EW!!!! Please...donnot connect his name with the Hawks again.
  9. Flip isn't going anywhere, it was reported by the NY Post.
  10. He didnt ask him about the Hawks!!!!
  11. your crazy, you wouldn't want Big Ben?
  12. Quote: Unlike most people on this board I don't think we need a point guard. Personally, I just think we should insert Salim into the starting lineup. What we have to understand that Salim just did what was asked of him this season and that was come in and provide instant offense. This is the reason why in most games he was overly aggressive. Our team doesn't need a traditional point because we have a 2 guard that is able to create in the mold of Anfernee Hardaway in his prime. I think that in this draft and free agency we should focus on getting Long and Atheletic(6'10-7') 4/5s. If we can't get a big in the lottery we should just trade down and take a chance on a big like Boone,Armstrong, O'bryant or Gray. I think that our rotation on the perimeter is set for the next 10 years if we stand pat with Salim/Childress/Williams/Smith/Johnson. Drafting another Perimeter player should definitely be out the questions!!!!!!!!!!! Well I am very happy that you are comfortable with the PG situation, but we need a PG. Salim has a great future, but this team is way to close to winning to insert him into the point. He needs more time. We need a vet PG, an AI or a Sam I Am...a vocal leader like those guys are.
  13. You want Kristic.....he is SOOO SOFT!!!!
  14. Here is why AI would be great in ATL: 1. AI and JJ are two of the best penetrators in the NBA, while they attract double teams our swingmen are going to be putting up huge numbers 2. AI gets to the line...ALOT. 3. The Hawks seemed to play with alot of swager this year, AI will add on to that. 4. JJ is a leader but more of a lead by example type guy, AI gives us a big time vocal leader.
  15. Would love to see that deal happen if we send Barangni instead of Chill or any other of our young players along with Harrington to Philly. But my only question is...doesn't BK like physical PGs/ AI, Lue...too small.
  16. haha...but seriously, the Hawks cannot waste Harrington's value on another swingman in RICHARD Jefferson.
  17. "Priority No. 1 in the offseason needs to be a new scoring big man at the power forward position, and Jefferson is the type of player who might just entice a team like to Hawks to part with Al Harrington in a sign-and-trade deal." -- Chris Sheridan DON'T DO IT BK!!!!
  18. Lawrence Frank, Larry Brown, and Avery Johnson.
  19. I would LOVE to get Big Ben, but he isn't going anywhere. Joe D is qoted saying Ben will get the $$$ he deserves.
  20. The post have blown up a lot of rumors over the years, but this is just stupid. They say the deal would send an elite Gaurd and a 1st round pick to CHI. Why would CHI even consider the deal? The "elite" Gaurd: Why would CHI take Starbury or Francis with thier big contracts, and not to mention they are strong at the point already with Hinrich, Duhon, and Pargo. Why would they take on Jamal Crawford when Jamal asked to leave last time. The 1st round pick: Huh? Why would the Bulls trade for ANOTHER 1st round pick when they have 2 already in a weak draft? If anything, the Bulls should be looking to unload one of thier picks.
  21. The Knicks every day seem to be going after a different superstar. The NY media is reatarded.
  22. ATL Gets: Jermaine O'neal Jeff Foster IND Get: Lottery Pick Why?(Atlanta): Well, for the Hawks it's pretty simple. This years draft is quite weak and the only real potential superstars will most likley be found in the early lottery, which makes Atlanta's lottery pick this valuable. With this trade the Hawks get two big men that will make great fits for them. Not to mention show Free Agents that the Hawks mean serious buissness next year. Why?(Indiana): The Pacers make this deal to clear salary in order for them to re-sign Peja without loosing too much talent in their frontcourt(assuming they would draft a big with the pick). They would nearly clear $20 Million in cap space for this summer, which will make it much easier for them to bring Peja back. Draft: Hawks 2nd Round pick- Saer Sene, C, RBC Verviers-Pepinster Free Agency: Re-sign Royal Ivey Sign Sam Cassell Sam Cassell/Tyronn Lue/Royal Ivey Joe Johnson/Salim Stoudamire/Daunta Smith Josh Smith/Josh Childress Marvin Williams/Zaza Pachulia/Esteban Batista Jermaine O'neal/Jeff Foster/Saer Sene/John Edwards
