My alma mater Richmond Academy, lol. I try to at least check the paper and see how they fared. For some reason Augusta schools are just so so and if they do make it to the state playoffs, they're not known as storied teams, like our surrounding county schools, Lincoln and Washington Counties where they are main schools and have depth unlike Augusta with 10 or so teams. -
Once the NFL season goes into the 1st quarter of the season, it'll be downhill from there! lol

I didn't hear commentators talk to much about the Ga win, but the score knocked them out of the #1 spot. It seemed too close for an 1-AA team.

I guess there must have been a lot of ho-hum games yesterday cause it looks weird for so many games to come on a Thursday to open up the season. I really don't think ATL are gonna be in the bottom 3-5 in league, they can only go up!

Still kinda pissed the NFL starts a week later than usual. The season used to start on Labor Day weekend, and now it's pushed back with the Super Bowl in Feburary.

I saw Jarret Jack in his Jacket days at a friends wedding as he was in the wedding party. I got out there with him and other tall azz dudes to catch the garter, and I've seen William Avery at the babershop and church a few times. I think that's about it.

I know players can get better overtime, but I just wasn't sold on "Gasoul" a few years back being about 220 and being a post player.
