Did anyone know Dermarr's dad died this week

I read an article in the AJC that stated Dermarr will be given clearance to fly to Washington to attend his father's funeral. They just stated his father(Melvin Johnson) died of complications after surgery. Man this aren't going very well in the Johnson's household these days.
