Hawksfreak
I saw on Front Office and he said we are not the most improved team! LOL! Who is diesel, who is it. It looks like this isn't a good team huh..... pg: Jason Terry sg: Ira and Dion sf: Glenn Robinson pf: Shareef Abdur-Rahim c: Theo Ratliff and if you look at our bench it should make you feel even better about this team! We are going to surprise a lot of teams this year! I mean out of GRob,Reef, and JT your going to get over 60-70 points from those three combined! Then you got Theo, Dion, Ira, Dickau, Nazr, etc to clean up after that! We have the best Frontline no dought about that. Not only do we have 2 stars we have 4 all-stars! So, I have no idea why you say that because when the Hawks surprise you don't tell me I didn't tell ya so!
Inside_Man
and Diesel thinks we aren't the most improved team? I can't think of any team that added 3 ALL-STARS but perhaps Diesel will enlighten me.
jaywalker72
To be honest, we might not be the team that improves the most by wins, considering that we are already at 33 and some of those other teams, like CHI and GS, start much lower than we are. Diesel was saying that, while we are improved, we may not have the biggest differential in wins from last year to this one. Let's not overreact, I think nobody here thinks we won't be improved over last year.
Gray Mule
If a team won only one game last year, they would double their win total when they won #2 this year. Per Cent gain = the most improved. If Hawks improve by, say 10 wins and the team with a lot less wins last year improve by 10 wins, they are most improved, not the Hawks. Why is this? Because your winning % goes up less than the other teams. Here is an example -- Both teams playing 100 games per season, just to keep it simple. Team A's record Last season --- 45-55 won 45% This season --- 55-45 won 55% Team B's record Last season -- 10-90 won 10% This Season -- 20-80 won 20% Team B improved the most, they doubled their wins!! Lrenfro
Nice way to break it down graymule. This will keep us from thinking that the media and company are just plain stupid when they don't vote the Hawks Most improved.
