tmac13
This team has went right into the tank..We have now lost 9 of the last 10 games..They are playing like they have quit for the season..Finishing poorly does not bode well for Woody or BK..Woody is on his way to setting the mark for the worst 2 year record ever. BK so far, has had the support of ownership..However, constant legal battles, empty seats, another awful record, and lackluster performances might start to wear thin their loyalty to BK.... Joe johnson is gone! Can't shoot anymore, defense sucks & is sloppy with the ball. Of course Smith having games like tonight doesn't help. 1-9 from the field, his man eating him alive, bad shots & bad turn-overs.

Gray Mule
Joe is too tired to continue his previous assault. Woodson is developing players, that's true. They WILL be better next season, I'm sure. But, like Lennie before him, he plays his best players too many minutes and refuses to use his bench players as he should. A perfect example. A center from the Dev. League is signed to back-to-back 10 day contracts, yet he NEVER got to play. Not nairy a minute, even when the games were completely out of reach. The results? Zaza is tired, used up. Why? Will the new guard who has been called up suffer the same fate? Will he EVER get in a game? We'll see.
Weez
the bigger thing, and something I almost posted but somehow failed to with match day and the conclusion of my medical schooling career took over for a bit... Joe played great last month. Smoove too...but we had a very 'light' schedule in terms of games per week there for two weeks, one htat had many days off and only two games or so per week. now, we're back in the 'rougher' part, both in terms of teams that we're facing and frequency of games. With the minutes that we've been playing guys, it was fine when we had only two games a week, but once we're plyaing four a week, those minutes start to take their toll and the effects are apparent. Gray Mule
Yep! Now, the question. Why?
DrReality
You gotta wonder if Woody is a lame duck for the remainder of the season. His stars are like someone trying to set a new record for the mile and they burn themselves out in the first 3/4 mile. It could get really ugly the last month of the season and BK is gonna have a hard time protecting Woody. With the owners so distracted by the court battle, who knows what will happen. Worst case . . . . the lawsuit continues, FA are scared away, Woody stays, we lose Al . . . . you get the picture. In whcih case the a$$hole in Boston wins.
