If his play stays consistent all year with the numbers he's put up early, I say give it to him. 21.7/8.3/2.33 are money numbers if he finishes with those stats. Is he playing for the big payday? Probably, to as much of an extent as his desire to remain a Hawk, play the game, and get a ring, but there's no reason to think his numbers will decline after the payoff. His history in the NBA says otherwise.
