Hawksfreak
As I said before when Dog' isn't shooting well like the last two games don't continue giving him the ball! Shareef is our 2nd big option on this team! When Glenn is giving up 6 turnovers a game give it to Reef! SAR hasn't made that many turnovers this year! If we want to win tommarrow we need to cut the turnovers, because when the Kings steal it then it's over because they run so well on the open court and on fastbreaks. Ira has also been shooting preety well this year and Ratliff can score. Dion has been scoring and so has Hendu. JT has been great! We have a lot of guys who can score and to me our defense is a lot better then last years. My point is when Big Dog isn't scoring or if he isn't having his kinda game don't keep passing to him and hope for it to change! When you got Reef, JT, Ratliff and company let them show what they can do and maybe that will allow Dog to make his defense that game his strong point. Gray Mule
SAR is still not 100 % recovered from his back and this has limited him somewhat. Hendu has played well in the inside traffic, and Theo continues to pick up an abundance of fouls. The combination of Dion & Newble have given us a very good coverage on the 2 guard. They seem to feed off of each other. We miss Nazr -- Hope he is able to come back soon. Back-up point guard is hurting us right now. E-Mail has done only a fair job and Dickau hasn't yet shown anything. I'm waiting patiently for him to begin to show signs of learning the N.B.A. game. Maybe by the all star break?? Turnovers will happen but the Hawks have too many silly turnovers which could be eliminated. Passes that don't get there, letting another player simply take the ball from your hand and sending it the other way, trying to dribble into heavy traffic and hoping to get the foul but, instead, loosing the ball. Chris Crawford is coming back. This should help.
Guest
The team flat out gave no effort last night. That was a big chunk of the problem. Are they tuning Lon out already?
Hawksfreak
If we don't make it this year there is a chance Lon might be fired he's is a great friend! Crawford will help tons with defense and Nazr is gonna be back soon!
Guest
We can't afford to give him to the end of the season. I agree he is obviousally a good guy,but I think college coaching is a better fit for Lon.
