The other thing about a JT trade is that somehow we'd have to get an allstar quality player who has life on his contract.

FORTUNATELY, that would be near impossible to do right now. BUt it doesn't mean that Babcock is not looking.

As far as you who say NO NO NO to a JT trade.

or

JT/Big Dog to Philly for Iverson/Snow.

These are not rumored trades, but these are the type of trades it would take to get him. In the NBA, Something always happens and you never know who will become available. LAC might get tired of Miller. Etc. Etc.

All I'm saying is that Babcock's own words lead me to believe that JT is on the blocks for the right deal.

Good point, I hadn't thought about Andre Miller...with his contract situation and the Clipper's monetary problems upcoming and Candy's improvement...they might be willing to let him go.

Well the fact that they are not winning right now and that Elton Brand and Odom are looking to get paid by yrs end might mean that a shake up is due. Sterling being the cheapskate that he is would probably do away with everyone....

How about this one:

JT/SAR to LAC for Miller/Brand/Maggette.

Once the winning stopped in LAC, all of them became tradable.
