cyman3
I think the NBC crew addressed during the NETS/LAKERS series last year, but do u believe that LUCK has to play with some of the success? if i remember correctly, the NETS GM did admit that his success was a combination of the right moves and luck... do u guys believe in luck? if so, is Babcock a bad GM because of a lack of LUCK? how knows, maybe if JR RIDER wasnt such an a** it would have worked out (since Smith isint an allstar anymore and isint playing well).... Premium Member Diesel Posted December 18, 2002 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 18, 2002 NJ's GM was talking about Luck because they got "lucky" and won the lottery and got Martin. However, anyone can see that it wasn't Luck. Rod Thorn takes over NJ and all the sudden they win the lottery over LOWLY Chicago? Not Luck. However, we have made some mistakes and some of the things we have done were good moves. Toni for Big Dog was a good move. Deke for Theo/Toni/Nazr was a good move. Lo/BK/1st for SAR was a good move. However, things won't change until we get a coach who knows how to work with talent.
