did u guys notice how friendly JT was towards Wilks during the game?

He seems to be talking to the players and helping them see diffrent things on the court. That is something that Lon didn't do, well couldn't do being he never played. I like the press and intencty I see on the defencive end and the ball control on the other.

He actually can't shoot. Not very well - but I think he knows this and therefore doesn't force too many shots.

A nice little pick up, but nothing to jump up and down about....too much anyway.

Hawks win and he was a part of it. Good "D" and

no turnovers and some pretty decent passing ---Nothing

to get excited about??

Doesn't take much to excite me when we get a win!!

For a guy who hasn't had time to more than shake hands

with the other Hawks, I thought he did all right.

The only reason the small backcourt had impact

was because of the Spurs lack of scorers at the

guard position......However we still ran stale on

offense several times.

But alot of things looked better tonight....dunno

if it will last though.

We are not going to be successful with another mini-me backcourt. If we need to add someone get a 6-5 sg that can handle the ball to take the pressure off of JT. We are going to get eaten alive again when we play the eastern teams with the big atheletic shooting guards. deja vu. Still I am very happy to see the win.

I don't think he will be starting much. I like the way Scotts thinks. He said that he fit well for this particular game. He does not plan on doing this all the time. That means Scotts can adjust. He puts his best players in for the best situation. Not because they usualy start.

...and he didn't stick with the lineup all the time, or even a majority of it...Wilks did what you'd want out of a 20 min performance...truly nice composure and didn't force things much at all
