Whoever else it takes to make the trade work.

Why? Battier is benched. We could use him. He can

play #2 or #3, I believe. He can and does play

defense and he hustles. Has leadership ability.

Big Dog just don't seem to fit here. Nazr is a pretty

darned good back-up center and the Grizzlies are in need

of one.

I know Hawks would get someone else to make the

trade work out. I can't tell you who but I"ll bet that

Diesel can put this together. How about it Diesel??

Big Dog/Nazr to Memphis for

Battier/Dickerson/Knight.

You mentioned the positives about Battier.

Well there are positives about Dickerson too. He plays good defense. HE was fast (coming off surgery I don't know if he has speed). I hear hes' much much stronger in his upper body. He can handle the ball and score. Problem is that he's injured a lot.

Knight... We all know about Knight.

seeing that Nazr doesn't play anymore anyway... There's no need to call him Theo insurance. I think the new Theo insurance is faithful Hendu. SO trading for this lot might be good.

PROBLEM....

I don't know if West would take Big Dog.

I mean on paper, Big Dog is great!!

However, West has configured this team around Speed. Can big Dog prove to be more favorable than Gooden? I doubt it... However, It does give West a better offer to get Jones with.... Big Dog/Swift for Jones? West is probably drooling over that thought right now.

Grizzlies just might be willing to do this.

Nazr is a good big man and they need him. Hawks are

not using him. You're right, Henderson is our Theo

insurance, which we hope we don't need.

With there being not that many big men available, Nazr

should be worth Memphis looking like they did well.

I miss seeing Knight and would welcome him back.

A trade of Nazr to Memphis for Battier might be possible if Memphis has filler they'd like to give up?

With that, maybe Grob to Portland could be possible... IF Portland is willing to give up Anderson and Filler?

I just don't think that:

Memphis would take Big Dog.

I would wonder if Portland would take him. Seeing that Pippen is on his way out and Big Dog scores.
