hawkster411
O.K guys! I was wondering if we could pry Garnett from the Wolves if both the Hawks and Wolves do not have a good season. I'm really interested in getting this guy. What kind of trade scenerios can you guys come up with?
jezmund
Grob/Reef/CC for Garnett works salary wise

Premium Member Diesel Posted January 3, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 3, 2003 You got to throw Minn a bone. Maybe if the trade was JT/SAR/CC/Grob for Garnett/Hudson... The deal would go through. JT would give that Minn team outside shooting and scoring from the point. For us, Hudson is very similar to JT. He can score and assist... except, he doesn't turn over the ball much. I figure that Rose has to be traded for Wally First for this to make sense. hawkster411
Diesel, Your proposal seems reasonable JT/SAR/CC/Grob for Garnett/Hudson however, will the hawks become another Minnesota team? All our scorers are gone...On the other hand, we do get Garnett. Will the Hawks be able to lure another free agent in the summertime? Our chances to get a HIGH draft pick is slim. I don't see the Hawks having any leverage once we get Garnett. Yes, it would be nice to have a franchise player to go along theo. But who in the sam [censored] will shoot the ball? Minnesota will definately be tempted what the hawks have to offer. I just don't see the Hawks being any better...however, if we were able to keep JT and throw CC instead, i wouldn't mind seeing JT/Newble/?/Garnett/Theo
