pathway23
Fratello and Van gundy were talking during tonight's TNT game about Turkoglu not getting the PT after coming back from injury, and how he is much better as a starter. What do you think we could do to get him. Diesel you got any ideas? This guy is extremely versatile, has a nice aggressive style, handles and a sweet shot....I'd love to have him on the Hawks
BlackHawkDown
Dont give him any ideas, if Diesel stopped making trades. I would be able to declare him Hawksquawker of the Year.
Guest
seriously, what does Sacremento need??? esp. that we have?
Guest
maybe Theo - but the contracts aren't close to working out... do they even have garbage to give us in that trade?
BlackHawkDown
I can steer a car with my left foot but I dont recommend it. Point is Hendu is playing center. But it is not the best place to put him. You see J.Oneal's improvement since he moved to PF. I am sure Walter will chime in and find a way to say this is a racist post. Premium Member mrhonline Posted January 10, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 10, 2003 I agree with you, and as much as Henderson has improved this year, it's unfortunate he is being misused. Too bad he signed a 15 yr. contract or he would be good trade bait... :>
dimes4life
As all of you know, I live in Sacramento and I know all of the Sacrameto Kings players in deep detail. The Hawks do not need Turkoglu and for thqt matter wither do the Kings. Hedo is very inconsistant with his jump shot and decisiveness. He is a good back up and a decent starter, and right now the hawks don't need decent....they need good and solid talent. But I am predicting that the Kings will move him one way or antother. They need the room for GFerald Wallace to grow and mature. Wallace is very athletic, plays real hard, and ahas a great work ethic. He will be a star some day...I guarntee it. Premium Member Diesel Posted January 10, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 10, 2003 Atlanta trades: SF Darvin Ham (2.4 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 12.8 minutes) C Theo Ratliff (7.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 0.7 apg in 28.9 minutes) Atlanta receives: SF Hidayet Turkoglu (7.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.5 apg in 20.8 minutes) SF Brent Price (7.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.5 apg in 20.8 minutes) C Keon Clark (6.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.1 apg in 23.6 minutes) Change in team outlook: +4.5 ppg, -0.6 rpg, and +1.5 apg. Sacramento trades: SF Hidayet Turkoglu (7.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.5 apg in 20.8 minutes) SF Brent Price (7.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.5 apg in 20.8 minutes) C Keon Clark (6.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.1 apg in 23.6 minutes) Sacramento receives: SF Darvin Ham (2.4 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 33 games) C Theo Ratliff (7.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 0.7 apg in 33 games) Change in team outlook: -4.5 ppg, +0.6 rpg, and -1.5 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Due to Atlanta and Sacramento being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Atlanta and Sacramento had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ You have been assigned Trade ID number 869151
BlackHawkDown
I would say this is a bad trade however Ratliff's numbers are atrocious.
TheDude
getting keon clark in that deal would be a steal although i don't think he could start all games at center... you know, we're just screwed....i'm frustrated..
