that no matter who we get, that player wouldnt be as good if he played on the hawks.

I get that feeling, too....Until I remember that we tend to only see the good with players from other teams, and then when they join your team, you only see their warts...

You would think Bonzi Wells, Derek Anderson, or anyone would be better, until they get here, and then we can't wait to get them out of town in trade for the next guys who are better...

It's natural...I think...Maybe we're all crazy...

That's because we have had such bad coaching the past few years. I personally thought Smitty and Mookie and Deke over achieved based on their talent.

I get this feeling about players on the Braves. People who leave the Braves almost always put up better numbers offensively elsewhere, while people who come to the Braves put up below average numbers. Castilla and Sheff are good examples, though you could argue that they were somewhat injured. Reggie Sanders is another good example. Basically, I notice this trend of unproductivity once an Atlanta uniform is donned, unless you are a pitcher.
