jaywalker72
Michael Lee gets the goods again, this time it's Smitty wanting to return to ATL after this year.... I hope he gets his wish, as long as it is affordable... I've reprinted the AJC piece here: http://hawks.realgm.com/index.php
KB21
I posted that above. Didn't see your post. This is the type of player we need. He could probably be had for the MCE. Why is he the type of player we need? He knows how to win. We don't have very many players that know how to win on this team. Glen Robinson. Alan Henderson. Darvin Ham. Theo Ratlif. That's the only players on this team that have played on a winning team in the past. Steve Smith as a starter? Part time maybe. He plays around 23 mpg right. What he is though is a big guard that can handle the ball. A good fit in the backcourt with Jason Terry, IMO. Maybe if DerMarr Johnson is healthy next year, we could split time with he and Smith at the shooting guard position. Kenny Anderson is also an option, as he has stated that he would like to finish his career as a Hawk. We may be able to split the MCE next year and bring these two guys in. Guest
As a assisant coach yes....but as a player he has nothing left to offer a team. His defense is really, really poor now and it is kinda hard to watch him play now.To be honest I don't like to watch him play anymore remembering he once was a pretty good player and now he limps around and is very slow.
