Speedy needs to be shut down for the year

We need to get him well for next year. If he's good next year, he will be valuable, or we can at least trade him.

There's no point in worsening his injury just to improve our dismal record.

All thinking from this point to the end of the year should be about next year. Players should only be traded for draft picks, not mediocre veterans who can "help right away". We should try to find some gems in the NBDL to build team assets.

Stop dreaming! He needs to be put down! He is a total joke. What a waste. Even if his knees didn't magically fall apart, he still sucked and I really don't think any other team would take him.

We could shut Speedy down the rest of the season. Speedy will do that himself. Speedy prove this offseason. There is no place on earth he can't get injured. His season is likely done anyways. He is going to see Dr. James Andrews Monday about his knee. I said it another thread. No one goes to the great Dr. James Andrews for tea.

YOu gotta wonder if it isn't inevitable the way he's been in and out. He just doesn't seem to have the durability needed.
