I know this is pretty much out of the question, because of the contract we gave speedy, but man wouldn't he just be absolutely perfect for this team?

Real solid defense, good distributor and shooter, and a great leader...

I would pay him anything he wanted to come here...

I hate that there was no way for us to get Jordan Farmar.

I hope that Kidd goes to LAL and maybe we can get in on the trade and take Farmar. That kid is going to be a really good PG in this league!!

I think Billups will be looking for one final payday, and the Hawks don't have enough cap space to outbid Milwaukee.

(Early estimates are that the cap will rise ~$1.5M).

Why would Milwakee want Billups??

They have a good pg in Mo Williams, he is averaging 19ppg, 5 and 5.

He's also probably the worst defensive pg in the league. Tyronne Lue = the glove compared to Mo defensively.

...to getting a big here. We need a big post-presence more than we need a Pg, the Indy pick is more likely to have a legit Pg prospect rather than a legit post prospect, and we don't have enough money for both. Pick Pg, trade for a post-presence if a player like Gasol is available, fill out the roster. That's my plan. Shame we didn't address all these seemingly ever-present needs years ago.
