I see Tyrone Hill seated behind the Hawks bench a lot!

No. He's there every game, though. Personally, I think he was hoping we would offer him a deal. Naw! He probably hasn't gotten it out of his system, but enjoys living in ATL and has no real desire to coach. He just sits behind the Hawks. Why wouldn't he sit behind the other bench?

Ty Hill would be our best big man tomorrow night, by the way.

From what I understand he's more of a consultant to the Hakws than a coach. But I think that was just what I've picked up from other posters, no idea if it's a fact.

I think I remember someone saying he's been close with Woody and Herb since the 76er days???

I'm nearly positive that Ty Hill has been hired as a Hawks Coach. I noticed him behind the bench every game and finally heard he was Coaching about 10 games back.

Ty Hill lives in Dunwoody last I heard, don't know if he's affiliated with the hawks or not.

I asked because sometimes, I see him lean in and say something to our bigs? I was wondering if it was just moral support from a loyal fan (who just happened to have played) or if he's on the payroll somehow.

Don't know about his connection with the team, but I do know he's still one of the ugliest dudes to play the game.
