we got nothing for Langerhans as of today. future considerations. Billy Beane is shrewd so we won't get much in return.

He's been with the Orioles, the White Sox and the Red Sox. He's been a part timer except for 2004, when he got 400 ab.

Why do you think the Braves traded Langerhans for nothing? Was he making a lot of money? I know he was not hitting, but is that worth trading him for "future considerations"? Why not try and at least get a relief pitcher or something?
