KB21
http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/sports/ha...19nbatrade.html In reply to:To dispel some speculation, the Hawks said they are not looking to dump their roster. Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Theo Ratliff and Glenn Robinson are not part of a fire sale, although the Hawks are willing to trade anyone on the roster for the right combination of players. Smart move. They all have short term contracts. There is no need to get desperate and trade a good talent for junk or a contract that is longer. More comments of note: In reply to:As today's 3 p.m. trade deadline approaches, Terry appears to have very little to worry about. Hawks vice president and general manager Pete Babcock has been steadfast in saying he does not want to trade Terry and sees little value in doing so. This pretty much shows that Lakers' rumor is a bogus rumor. In reply to:"We like Jason as a player and as a person," Babcock said. "He's a high energy player. He's very enthusiastic. He's not perfect, but he makes things happen on the court." That's right. When he's being played like he is supposed to be played, he makes things happen on the court. He can be a 20 ppg, 8 apg point guard if used right. Get him some ball handling help!! The ball doesn't need to be taken out of his hands completely, but for Christ's sake, get someone that can help get him out of a jam every once in a while!! PlayaPat420
JT a joke? maybe he isnt the best PG in the league or anywhere near but before the season started everyone said he would and should be the cornerstone for the team. I believe they are putting too mmuch pressure of him running an offense for him to be consistent. If they get someone else out there to help him, he would be one of the better young combo guards in the league, point blank. Hate if you want to but everyone talks about Bobby Jackson and his instant offense, while JT could do the same thing if he had talented passers and ball handlers around him. Guest
His defense blows and other than his 3pt shot he does little else. Not to mention he obviousally enjoys losing to want to stay with this team.
