cyman3
I know this subject comes up about once a month, but can we guys fill me in with accurate information? CURRENT SITUATION -we are currently 22-37 and the only way we can go to the playoffs is by a miracle itself. best case- we make it in as the 8th seed worse case- we end up 22-60 (.268)* *assuming we lost the rest of our games- very unlikely DRAFT PICK -so what happens? Doesnt our pick go to milwaukee (assuming its not a top 3 pick?- which most likely will be the case)? that being said, isint it best to finish the year strong... whether or not we go to the playoffs? KB21
Without a question, finishing the season strong is the best thing the Hawks can do. Tanking a season just to gain an opportunity at a draft pick is a disgusting thought, and I'm completely disgusted that some fans would even put that thought into their mind. If our pick does not land in the top 3, it goes to Milwaukee. We get Indiana's 1st round pick as long as it is not in the top 18 (which is a given unless Indiana completely falls apart). We may also get Orlando's 2nd round pick this year in return for the Anthony Johnson trade a few years ago.
