DavidSomerset
Could we trade something like Zaza/AJ/2008 2nd rounder for Camby? Then we could trade the #3 pick for 6 and Villanueva. Take Conley at 6. Take BPA at 11. Our team would look something like this (depending on who we took at 11). Speedy/Conley/Lue JJ/Nick Young/Salim MW/Chillz Smoove/Villanueva Camby/Shelden/Solo I think that team could make a lot of noise in the playoffs. I also wouldn't mind Noah at 11 if he lasts. BHayley
You've got some good ideas here. That is a very good and equal trade for Camby you have there. However, I really don't like this popular idea of trading down to the 6th spot. Adding Charlie Villanueva to the 4 spot with Josh Smith would probably stunt Smoove's growth. Villanueva is a 30 MPG, 12 PPG, 6 RPB player (like ZaZa) who should be getting better in the coming years. I also don't like the philosophy of getting Conley and then the BPA at 11. While I am a fan of Noah, there's a strong chance he'll be gone. I'd much rather make the Camby trade, draft at 3 (Yi / Horford) and then get our PG at 11 (Heck, it may even be Conley? ) No matter what variations we do of all our plans on here, this team will ONLY GET BETTER if it's healthy, and I am definitely looking forward to the playoffs this year. NJHAWK
Not a bad idea at all. I would do it but instead of Conley at 6 I would take Brewer and then Law at 11. Maybe even change the Camby trade to Chills, SALIM and Speedy.
TexasPete
GReat ideas but way too creative for our GM. This is the kind of thing that rights some past wrongs and it could actually happen. If we had a creative GM of course.
