Ric Bucher just said that another PHO contract must be sent to us and it doesn't have to be Kurt Thomas. Any ideas? Barbosa or Bell, eiteher would work for me lol.

Actually, this could be a fairly significant problem with the trade at first glance.

Garnett is 22 mil.

Stoudamire is 14.5 mil.

That means PHX needs to shed 7.5 mil.

What's more, at 48 mil, ATL can only accomodate about half of Amare's salary--certainly can't eat the whole thing.

And, anything sent to ATL just adds to that problem.

So... perhaps this is where the rumored Charlotte deal is vital.

If PHX can send Thomas to CHA for the #10 pick, that part is solved.

But it still leaves us with having to find a deal where we lose 5-7 mil.

Someone correct me if I'm misdiagnosing this... but that would seem to be a major sticking point.

Regardless, I'm saying we don't have the room... but if that's the case, then of course, it's a matter of what we can/will send back to them, not vice-versa.

Yeah, I know that isn't the whole solution, but I think that's a piece of it.
