Pitching Woes

Well, it looks like the luck has run out for Buddy Carlyle. He is what he is, and that is an AAAA pitcher....i.e...too good for AAA but not quite good enough for the Major Leagues.

Over Buddy's last few starts, he has posted an ERA over 5 and has not gone over 6 innings in any game. Tonight, he got shelled.

Lance Cormier has had two good starts in a row, but you know at some point the luster will wear off him as well. Just like Buddy Carlyle, Lance is what he is, and that isn't a major league starting pitcher.

Then there is Chuck James, who the league has figured out at this point yet he makes no adjustments.

Basically, the Braves have Tim Hudson, John Smoltz, and an overworked bullpen at this point.

Buddy hurt his elbow a few weeks back and has pitched through the pain. It has obviously effected him alot. I was at the game where he came out in 5th inning after throwing only 75 pitches with a 5 / 0 lead. It was Texiar's 1st game as a Brave.

You right our starting pitching is in deep trouble and our bullpen is wore out.
