If Dallas businessman David McDavid is successful in his bid to buy the Atlanta Hawks, along with Philips Arena and the NHL Thrashers, we hear he's going to bring in Mike Dunleavy to run the team. Dunleavy is working as an analyst on Dallas' TV games this season.

Dunleavy didn't do jack as a coach and GM in Milwaukee. He alienated practically every player on the Blazers too.

He wasn't as good of a coach as either PJ or Cheeks.

I would rather keep Stotts than have Dunleavey.

Dunleavy can't do any worse than the past few years. And, he did take the Blazers to Game 7 of the West Finals, and they haven't been anywhere close to that since he left. I'm really rooting for the Mavericks to lose in the 1st round, because there have been rumors that Don Nelson could lose his job if that happens. He hasn't built a team that can get out of the West, but he has built a team that could dominate the East.

Dunleavy is very, very, very overrated, IMO.
