Much like charles Barkley, he tells it like it is. He calls out lazy players and criticizes players who need it. Sometimes he goes overboard with his adulation of various players. But he is entertaining.

And The hype he's giving the Lakers is fully deserved. 5th seed or not, they are top 3 material. Were it not for their poor first half, they would have had the best record in the league. They posted the stat and after they allstar break they played at something close to a 70% clip. That's pretty damned impressive, like them or not.
