Guest
traded: 1)Glen Robinson-Terrible defender and even worse dribbler. 2)Jason Terry-Undersized SG with that just stands and throws up three's all day. He's the guard verson of Antonie Walker. 3)Shareef-He seems to be going downhill at a early age. Numbers... 21.2PPG---->19.9PPG(lowest since Rookie year) 9RPG---->8.4RPG(Lowest since 98-99 season) 3.2APG---->3.0APG(Lowest since second season) 1.05blk---->.47BPG(lowest of his career) 1.27SPG---->1.07SPG(lowest since rookie year) And his fouls were also up.His ft% was up but who really cares about that? 4)Alan Henderson-Worthless 5)Nazr-Injuried and worthless 6)Chris Crawford-Injuried and worthless 7)Theo Ratliff-Declined numbers in most area aswell. He was able to gamble and pad his blocking stats, but that isn't good enough to cover his lousy rebounding and inability to guard one on one. It doesn't make a difference to me who else goes and stays.
Guest
Sidenote to Reef's dip in offensive output - this is the first season he's played with another "all-star" scorer that he had to defer to for shots at points in the game...
cynic
Then we'll be a good team. GRob for LRob because they have similar names. JT for Wilks b/c Wilks is a better PG. You can fill in the rest.
Guest
There is no excuse for his slips in blocks and rebounds. You can't really blame Theo because Nazr is a better rebounder than Robinson and Theo. " Sidenote to Reef's dip in offensive output - this is the first season he's played with another "all-star" scorer that he had to defer to for shots at points in the game..." Hence he's not really a effective 20PPG scorer. There is no excuse. The Hawks big three(if that is what you want to call them)hog all the shots. It isn't like the Hawks are deep team causing Reef's decline in scoring. Plus since he was more of a second banana at times this year he should have hit the boards more instead of less.
Guest
Well then we wouldn't have overrated players(that don't win anyway)with 12 million a year contracts. The Hawks were a more entertaining team when JT was the only scorer and that's sad.
cyman3
"GRob for LRob because they have similar names." - thats ur reasoning? lol... anyways, it makes perfect sense! LROB is a SG that can hit the 3 and help JT will the ball handling duties. i say we go for it!
cynic
I enjoyed watching them play together, even though we lost mostly. I thought, at the time, we'd regret trading Lo, and I don't think I would've done the SAR deal at the time. I would've done the #3 pick and Henderson. I didn't want to throw in Lo and Brevin. Guest
We struggled to win even more, but it seemed like there was a little more care with that team. Some players with desire are really needed.
Blunt91
According to Babs the grizzlies didn't want Henderson they wanted Lo Wright so we gave him up.
