21, 37 and 42nd pick?

I knew we had the 21st and 37th, but where did the 42nd pick come from, did we always had this or what, please anyone know

#42 comes from when we traded A. Johnson to Orlando a few years back.

ESPN still shows #42 belonging to Orlando. I do remember the trade and that it was at their option when to convey it - either 2002, 2003 or 2004. My guess is that they'll wait until next year with the thinking that it will be a lower pick.

Also, we have 2 2nds coming from Philly (for Rentzias) in 2004 and 2006.

The deal was for a 2002, 2003, or 2004 pick. I don't know who has the option though.

Orlando does have a bunch of ending contracts, so I don't know if we'll get the pick this year,

Jaywalker, any insight on the pick? Who has the option of when to send it? Any date by which either team has to be notified?

It is due by 2004 and it can be any pick in the second round, meaning it does not have to be Orlando's 2nd rounder.

Orlando has until 15 days before the draft to decide whether to send a pick over to Atlanta.
