Rudy isn't going to take another head coaching job right now. He's going to stay on with Houston, just in a lesser role, as a consultant or something.

Rudy's health isn't the greatest, so he's trying to get rid of the stress in his life.

All this means for us is that there's another team looking for a new coach. Looking, while all we're doing is sitting here watching the paint dry. Smart money says they go after Silas.

Kenny Smith will be the Rockets next head coach.

He's ready for a job. He had his best years with the Rockets and still lives in the Houston area. He will be their next head coach. I'll almost bank on it.

As far as what we are doing, it's kind of hard to do anything when our ownership situation is still unsettled.
