He did "injure" his elbow with about 5 minutes left in the 2nd, but played through it and still contributed. I have absolutely no idea why Shelden didn't play in the 2nd half, it really seemed like a slap in the face. If there wasn't an actual concern for his eblow, then I see absolutely no reason why he shouldn't have gotten some time.

If Shelden wasn't playing because of his elbow that is one thing. But, if Woody just didn't play him that sucks but would be an example of his "doghouse". Woody is a control freak who has buried certain players and made them useless.

I'm no huge Shelden fan but he isn't that bad where he can't play on this team. The guy could still play 22 minutes a night and work the glass.

If not then trade his ass.

First of all, yes, Woody is a terrible coach.

But bashing him because Fizdale had a good idea isn't a legit argument IMO, because EVERY coach gets many of their ideas from assistants. I'm not denying Woodson's inadequacies, but I don't necessarily agree with this criticism.

To change the subject a bit, I thought it was a dirty play when Nelson undercut Shelden on that play. He clearly took out his legs.
