I heard on espn radio last night, that Marion can opt out of his contract at the end of the season.If he does, the the Heat would have alot of cap-space this off season, to sign free agents.

They would have to renounce Marion, in which case they would need a PG AND a SF with that money.

Philly remains the biggest competitor.

What does this say about the so called future of the NBA that Phoenix set the mold for. It's looks like their abandoning it because they no longer think it's championship caliber. Doesn't bode well for us with our undersized lineup. If Phoenix with Nash and Stoudemire couldn't pull it off, how likely are we.
