JT(SNT)/Theo/1st round pick (unprotected) to Boston

For

Paul Pierce/Toni Battie.

As much as the Celts love Pierce, I wonder if they would trade him. Is there a such thing as an untradable player? In JT, they get a guy who can play SG and they can play Forte (or Delk) as their PG... And ON occassion move JT to PG and play Delk at the 2. The other thing is that they get Theo. Battie is not really a great C. Theo is better. Moving Pierce allows them to get a good look at Brown.

What we get is.... Championship Material:

DD/DJ/Pierce/SAR/Nazr.

with Battie/Glover/and Toni off the bench.

Unfortunately, there's not enough lack of happiness in Boston. I have serious doubts that they would involve Pierce in any deal.... Even for Kobe and a pick.. However, without a C, Boston goes Nowhere.

Battie is not good enough to put on the floor more than 5 minutes a game. But let's pretend you trade him even up for the 1st round pick.

That would leave Theo and JT for Pierce. While I admit Pierce is a heckuva player, He is not worth both JT and Theo.....Try again.

Theo straight up for Walker I'd consider.

Pierce is a top 10 player, they are not trading him for JT and Theo. They would PROBABLY trade Walker for JT/Theo, but I wouldn't do that. I like Walker but he's not on the same level as Pierce.

Your rationale for why Boston might do the trade is hilarious! Why would they want JT at SG when they have Pierce there? Having Theo would no doubt be a huge upgrade over Battie but you also said "Moving Pierce allows them to get a good look at Brown." What!! I guess we should move SAR now so that we can get a good look at Leon! Give me a break!
