KrishATL
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/stor...mp;lid=tab7pos1 It's a nice little recap of the musings over the summer. he considers Josh Smith a steal and the signing of Mo evans a decent recovery from the Chill fiasco. DrReality
Better than he usually dishes out on us. Josh was a steal . . . . . beyond that we have to wait and see how it turns out.

Josh was a steal . . . . . beyond that we have to wait and see how it turns out. He wasn't a steal. We got him at market value or even overpaid a little for him. The good part is we didn't way overpay for him.

AI and Deng have been in the league just as long and have similar stats to Smith but got way more money.

How much more than Smith did they get once you account for the fact that Deng and AI got additional years on their contracts?

Plus they were overpaid as well. I think Iggy is just as good and as important to Philly as Smith is to us.
crimedog
Here's what Smith has to say on whether the offseason moves will make us better or worse: “I think it’s a little better because the guys we added have been in the playoffs, been in situations and have been on winning teams,” he said. “They’re veterans who know what it takes to win. Mo Evans played a huge role in Orlando last year. Flip Murray gives us another breakdown guard who can create off the dribble so Joe won’t have to dribble through three and four people at a time. Mo can knock down a consistent three-point shot and gives us another offensive weapon to spread the floor. And they’re both good defenders. Randolph Morris is a big body that gives us some much needed depth inside and I think overall these are all good additions to our team.” http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AqhY...ype=team_report Interesting to have a player break down the moves. He's definitely come a long way from that 18 year old kid that had a difficult time getting through an interview to where he is now. He is really starting to play like a veteran and reading what he said in that article makes it seem like he really understands what this team needs ... now if we can just convince him that we don't need him shooting 3's we'll be in great shape.
