Premium Member mrhonline Posted December 18, 2008 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 18, 2008 These Hawks are really starting to impress me. I wasn't sure about them before the season started due to the lack of depth inside, but the way they've played against the league's best, particularly at home, is encouraging. They definitely need a healthy squad to do it, but they're learning...
tonegully
we are dying for someone who can play with their back to the basket. If we had that it would be a different outcome. could saved us from going 0-10 in the 1st quater

LOL_Hawks
I think Bill Walton said it himself, if the Hawks had a big man they would've had this game in hand from the first quarter. Oh well. We're probably not gonna get one.
Sasha_Volkov
I'm disheartened that the mediocre Perkins and Powe are able to stuff us inside with impunity. Horford is just not a center. And Bibby is a SG playing point. I'm afraid we're not going to get past the 1st round with a talented but flawed team. Unless Horf and Smoove can hit that 15ft automatic we are not going far in the playoffs. We already playing small against other teams. i mean they left Horf wide open at the freethrow line and dared him to shoot it..lol.
DrReality
The 15 footer did cost us. Our offense just did not execute during the last 5-8 minutes and that was due in part to Boston. Before that we ran some of the best offense I've seen.
