He's 36 but a young 36. 81 games, 35 mpg., 2 steals, 8.5 assists, 6 rebounds at once again 35/36 years. Other than stats he will tutor Acie and potentially a young Jrue Holiday drafted this summer. I don't expect him to play that many minutes maybe 30 mins./75 games.

Sam is too expensive no matter how you look at it. I wouldn't do that deal, he's a good on helpside defense but is terrible at anything else. Kidd will resign with the Mavs.

Sammy D is not a low risk move. He costs a ton of money and he isn't that good.

I don't know if I'd say Kidd is a young 36. There's a lot of tread on those tires.

If an MLE was all it took to sign Kidd, don't you think that every team that could offer it, would offer it?

Even at 36, the guy was still 5th in the league in assists. If the MLE was all it took to sign him, you can bet he will end up in cleveland or la.

At this point in his career Kidd has achieved everything but a championship, look to see him either stay in Dallas where he likes or go somewhere with a definite championship possibility.
