Admin
He performed well in limited minutes in the regular season. He gives us a defensive presence off the bench, a veteran leader, and physical toughness. Joe Smith is a solid vet, but what he brings to the table is not what we really need. We don't need someone who is a solid offensive and defensive rebounder as well as one of the best mid-range shooters in the NBA?
hawksrule9
If I had to pick one I would choose Joe Smith. He puts up solid numbers for a vet and is a tough defensive player as well. Ben Wallace looked dead last year. I don't really think he would fit in well with the Hawks. At this point in his career I don't think he has anything to offer. Bruce Bowen would add good defensive presence and a vetern mentalilty but what has happened to his offensive game? I am still in favor of bringing in two younger, more athletic big men. Add Siler and bring in Pops Mensah-Bonsu, Chris Mihm, Hakim Warrick, and resigning Flip Murray and Mario West.
