Trade with Houston

Say we trade Marvin & Teague for Battier & Lowry

Salaries should be close :

Marvin is making like 7.5M & Teague 1.4M

Battier is making 7M (1 year left after this season) & Lowry is making 2M

Houston gets a tad younger, we get a Defensive stopper & a young PG ready to contribute. If the Rockets weren't doing so well this year I think they do it.

What's the incentive for Houston? Seems like they get a two lesser players and one longer contract.

Lowry is expiring & Battier is turning 31 or 32 this year.

I agree, I don't know that this is really enticing to Houston as is.

But when we played Houston, I was thinking about somehow getting Battier as well. He is definitely the type of player we need at that 3 spot. Great defensively, plays hard, hits that open 3, etc. And I'm not down on Marvin like some people are. I think Marvin can maybe be a Battier in 4-5 years, but we need that player now.
