Where is the team going? I just don't get it. We have all this money from trading all our big players like the Big Dawg, and this organization still doesnt go out in free agency and get any big name players. Whats up with that? Now we finally have a chance to keep a marquee player in Jason Terry, and I can almost guarantee you that this franchise will let him go. This is ridiculous. Please help me out, why didnt we at least go out and get one good free agent?

Even if JT is kept this team can't contend as is. If they

had went out and got somebody like Jumaine and Lenard

and maybe brought back Glover you could say that we

would have improved defense and a deeper team overall.

But it doesn't look like that's even going to happen.

IF rebuilding is in the plan, Why is Theo still here? He'll

be 31 years old this year and it doesn't make much sense

to keep him on a rebuilding team.

My hope would be that the new GM would change some things and revisit our squad and our empetus.

Namely, I would surely trade Theo...

We are not a championship team. We don't need him.

My deal is very simple. It kills a lot of birds with one stone.

Theo/CC to NY for McDyess/Rights to Lampe.

I know this gets us a Gimp. But it gets us a Gimp in his last yr. I know this gets us a player not even playing this year. But it gives us possibly the next Dirk.

NY gets instant gratification.

They have Theo/Thomas/Van Horn/Houston and Ward with the possibility of trading for NVE and having a championship team.

The move is simply based on us being a team that is looking to the future. Building around Reef. I would play with this team:

Nazr/Reef/McDyess (Dec)/Diaw/JT until next year, when I would reload the C position in the draft.
