I do think the Falcons players gave 100% but I bet the coaches gave them a vanilla game plan knowing we only had to beat the Panthers to secure the #1 seed and could see the Saints again in less then 20 days. frosgrim
That game plan was increadibly vanilla. They didn't seem to make any adjustments at halftime on the offensive side of hte ball. They did a couple of things differently on defense. So, this leads me to think the coaching staff didn't go all out for this game knowing we had a very good chance of meeting the Saints in a few weeks. Still, I would have like to see the team win. What the Saints did was classless. Didn't the NFL institute a logo rule after TO did his Dallas spike thing on their field? I do know that if the Falcons and Saints play in the playoffs, it is going to be a very chippy game. Smith will need to sit on Roddy, possibly take the guys cell phone away so we don't have a Twitter war going on before the game (this is TiC). dms269
I hope this fires up the team for when we meet them in the playoffs in the dome.
Eddielives
Oh well, we won't be seeing the Saints in the playoffs. Too bad...it would have been nice to beat them.
