All you guys have counted CC out but if healthy, he's not bad. He is certainly better than Diaw at this stage. You think CC couldn't have averaged 5.4 in summer league? And please don't give me any BS about Diaw not being a scorer. CC is not a scorer either. Other than MAYBE DD, Diaw should have been the top EVERYTHING option on the summer league team. The rest of those guys pretty much knew they were just there to fill out the roster. Diaw is probably a year away and probably more from being a signifcant contributor. Think about it. Joe Johnson was better coming out of college and he is STILL learning the game. Give Diaw some time.

If Chris Crawford is a starter the Hawks should just

go ahead all call off the season or simply tank. CC

shouldn't even get in a game.

I know that there is some who have a very intense

dislike for C.C. If healthy, he ain't half bad.

He plays with greater intensity than a lot of the players

in the N.B.A. today. He might not get all the praise that

some others will, but you can't accuse him of loafing on

the job.

I hope he is 100 % healthy this year. If he and Hendu

can stay healthy, their veteran leadership could mean

a lot to this year's Hawks team.

I am still hoping for a deal for Battier. It seems that

many think that our chances of getting him have

diminished considerably. Maybe so, but I keep hoping.

Oh, but CC is a scorer. In the 5 games he did play last season, he lead the Hawks in points per minute. The guy played 7 minutes a game and averaged 5 points a game.

The thing about CC is that he is aggressive, will attack the basket, is a pretty good shooter, and isn't a stiff defensively. He just can't stay healthy.

I hear that Stotts told CC that he would get a lot of playing time this year. I don't know if that means he will start but if healthy he can definately make an impact on the team.

Crawford make an impact? Since when? The guy is better

than Darvin Ham and Hanno...But if we sign Nailon then

CC should sit on IR.
