Bawse
Just reading that NJ might not be Deron's final spot. Could he be moved again in the next 48? What would you give? I would easily give Smoove. It gives them the best frontcourt moving forward. I would trade anyone on the team for Deron Williams.
Moderators AHF Posted February 23, 2011 Moderators Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 The real sweepstakes is for Kyrie Irving. Both Cleveland and NJ has locked in on this guy. Both are in a good position to get him. NJ is not in a good position to get him. They are currently 6th in the lottery race which puts them at a long-shot to get him. There are 5 teams 2 or more games worse than NJ right now.
Premium Member Diesel Posted February 23, 2011 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 NJ is not in a good position to get him. With Flynn, Rubio, and Ridnour.. do you think they want another PG? Washington = John Wall. Toronto = Bayless So there are three legit teams who will be vying for Him: Cleveland, NJ, and SacTown. I think that NJ can probably tank better if they move Deron. Then... somebody may want Sullinger or Jones more.
wolvetigers
Please silence this useless speculation New Jersey simply drove the price up for Carmelo that the Knicks would give up their future for him....its all over twitter, and in NJ publications. What a shrewd move...That is the reason Devin Harris was inquired about but NJ said that is not possible....STOP DREAMING !!!! Hawks will make a move our best case scenario now is to trade for Nash
