I absolutely agree, but to say we need to "blow it up", yet keep our (arguably) three most valuable players is a little silly. That's just not how it works.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Drew and Sund's contracts both up at the end of this season? I'm not holding my breath with the ASG at the helm, but a real change with our coaching staff and front office would be an excellent place to start "rebuilding."

A buddy of mine had a few beers with Sund over the summer and he told him that this would be his last year as an NBA GM no matter what happens.

Draft night:

Trade JJ to Wash for Lewis and their pick

Trade Josh to NJN for their pick, Petro, Farmar, filler

There's your fresh start fellas - Horf & Teague plus 2 top 5 picks

I'm with you. Follow that up with Marvin and Heinrich. Something like:

Trade:

Heinrich for a TPE and a mid 20s first

MW for a late first and a 2 year contract as filler

3 lottery firsts (with ours) and 2 mid to late 20s firsts to add to:

Horf / Teague / Zaza / Farmar / Ivan / Petro / Lewis

2013; let the contracts expire (Lewis, Petro > $23M), the rooks get their minutes and 2013 have cap space and another lottery pick (ours).
