Oh God, did someone attempt to bring up the notion of them not getting the #1 pick as the reason not to rebuild? Really?

The reason JJ had all the leverage in the world to demand a max deal was because of BK's egocentric idea of having an all 6'7-6'9 ballclub that could interchange positions. Sure, this has never been done before or since but he was going to put not one, not two, but THREE lottery picks on this cracked up vision.

It's as simple as this; getting Andre Igoudala or Luol Deng makes you relevant. Getting Chris Paul or Deron Williams makes you REALLY relevant. I wouldn't even throw in the Shelden Williams and Acie Law picks because they likely would not have been picking that high had CP3 and Iggy/Deng had been here instead of Marvin and Childress; that's a fact.

Bad ownership has had a hand in where they are right now but the fact that BK blew four out of the five lottery had an even bigger hand...

Yea the hawks drafting skills suck and we have a love affair with tweeners .

We used all of our lottery picks on FOWARDS. Childress, marvin, sheldon, horford etc... ..

Props for keeping the thread open, even though it is edited and toned down now. Didn't expect it to even be open after the two day suspension. Glad some of us are on the same page here.
