Mark Cuban on the offseason

And, for instance, going to the Lakers, this time next year, they wouldn't be able to do a deal for Steve Nash. ... The Nets and some other teams who have just said, 'we're going to spend whatever it takes,' that is their team for a long time. Somebody gets hurt, something happens or it doesn't work, they've got big problems."

Obviously he's trying to save face but i can't disagree with him. If it was baseball you could just spend and spend but in the new nba you can screw yourself that way. Doesn't sound much different from what Ferry has been saying.

I love the new CBA. It'll keep the Miami fiasco from happening again. It also increases our chances of prying Dwight outta LA next offseason!

Cuban has been preaching this since the CBA was signed, so I would not say he is saving face.I would love to comment on this, BUT THE NEW CBA IS STILL NOT OUT. WTF NBA?
