Korver's streak of 127 consecutive games with a 3-pointer is no longer in jeopardy after Steph Curry failed to make a 3 last night, stopping his streak at 75 games.

 

Curry is probably the only active player posing a legitimate threat to the record, but not for another season and a half at least!

That's a full season and half of another, or there about.

 

Korver has now started a new streak.  It's not very long right now

but you can't get anywhere if you don't start!

Well... derp.  5 games it is.  Can't believe he played 22 minutes vs. the Bucks and didn't even attempt a 3 point shot in that game, but it is what it is.  At least his record is safe.

Kyle Korver – We knew going into the season that Kyle Korver was a three-point specialist, but the way he’s been hitting threes so far this season has just been unfair. He’s shooting 61.3 percent from behind the arc, which is the main reason he’s sinking 3.8 triples a game. He’s the sixth-rated player in fantasy right now in large part because of the dominance in that category, but he’s also averaging 16.6 PPG, 3 RPG, 2.2 APG and even 1.4 BPG, all while shooting 53.1 percent from the floor and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line. He’s helping you everywhere and hurting you nowhere, making him one of this season’s biggest fantasy surprises early on.

I love that Korver is even blocking shots now.  After a few Hibbert swats in the playoffs the guy is trying to make a defensive name for himself.

I was watching the game last night and Steph tried to get a cheapo 3 at the end with less than a minute to go. Haha...the basketball gods rejected him.
