RWF
Quote Jeff Teague remained available by the Atlanta Hawks until the trade deadline at 3:00 PM EST. The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets were interested in Teague, though the Hawks had a high asking price. The Hawks were prepared to deal Teague and go forward with Dennis Schröder as their point guard. Teague is signed until the 2017 offseason. -Chris Broussard/ESPN http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/240906/Jeff-Teague-Remained-Available-By-Hawks-Until-Deadline Guess Kirk will help prepare Schröder to take over next season.
Guest
I'd say Mr. Multiple Sauces made that crap up.

The report was that guys were available if the deal knocked the Hawks' socks off. I don't imagine that ever changed so i guess what I'm actually pointing out is his report is basically a rearranged version of the same report packaged to sound like 'news'. We're being Broussar'd. There was a report out there saying the Hawks had stopped taking offers for Teague around 1:00 p.m. Broussard is disputing this here by saying the Hawks were still making him available all the way until 3:00 p.m.
Guest
If the right offer came in, they would have been traded. I actually appreciate that The Hawks set the value for their players and didn't budge and accept less. Ainge probably thought they would cave and accept his lowball offers. I'm saying if the Hawks told Teague at 12:59 that you're not getting traded, but at 2:59 the Cavs offered LeeBron, then Teague would've been gone. I dont think that counts as news or as some new revelation. Broussard is playing us here.

Oh what this was Broussard? I'm sorry, I mean at pacific times.

Spursfanpeacemaker
I don't think Hawks will trade Teague, from hearing Bud radio interview today, looks like Bud has a lot of faith in Teague, and his core players. Teague may been inconsistent but Bud wants to push him and get to that next level because he knows he has one heck a of talent, same goes with all other the players in the team, Baze,Horford,Sap,Kyle,Dennis,Muscala, Scott,Thabo, and so on so on.. He really got no choice. Hawks would have gotten ripped off. Summer would be better to move. PG FA market will be weak.
Guest
Wanna know the truth? Teague was never available this trade deadline. Bud was always waiting for the summer to make any moves. Chris Broussard is the biggest tool/idiot ever. NEVER TRUST HIM OR BSPN.
Moderators macdaddy Posted February 19, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted February 19, 2016 If Korver or Hardaway don't start showing up then i'd like to start seeing Dennis/Teague/Thabo/Sap/Horford out there some. I hated this lineup last year but we should make an effort to run some teams into the ground with this maybe around mid 3rd quarter.
